BR Pettit created this piece prior to 1980 as a proto-type for
the monument that was cast at the foundry at University of Northern Arizona (NAU) and erected by the City of
Williams, AZ. Senator Barry Goldwater conducted the unveiling ceremonies.
Bill Pettit taught at NAU as he worked for his master's degree. This
piece is now available in limited quantities. The NAU grad is one of many successful Arizona artists that
came out of Northern Arizona University.
